Childcare

Our heart is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our HOME kiddos on Tuesday mornings. For many of our littles this is their first time being dropped off in a classroom! We feel blessed to be part of that and strive to make it the best experience possible for everyone.
During HOME your child will get to join our childcare leaders in a room set up just for them. Classrooms are provided for children birth to five years old where they will be cared for by qualified individuals in a safe and fun environment.

You have fun and so do they - win, win.

Childcare is $3 per family per week but your first visit is on us! This fee pays our lead teachers. There are scholarships available!
Newborns are welcome to join their mommies in the lobby.

Policies and Procedures

Guidelines for Sick Children

Use your best judgment when deciding whether or not your child is healthy enough to be in childcare. Specifically, we ask you would please refrain from bringing your child to any class if he/she has had any of the following symptoms within the past 24 hours:

  • Diarrhea
  • Runny Nose (if there are signs of infection; mucus is not clear, or is unrelated to allergies)
  • Excessive Coughing
  • Sore Throat
  • Nausea or Vomiting
  • Questionable Rash/Open Sores
  • Evidence of Lice Infestation
  • Red/seeping Eyes
  • Has had a fever within the past 72 hours (3 days)

*Please Note: If your child is being treated with an antibiotic, he/she should have received treatment for at least 24 hours before coming to class.

Upset Child Procedure

It can be hard for littles to be away from mom and for some kiddos it takes time to adjust to a classroom setting.  Our childcare workers will work with an upset child until he or she becomes a disruption to the classroom environment or is inconsolable. At this point, we will alert you through the HOME childcare leaders and decide the best course of action to take. If you have particular soothing techniques or instructions, please pass these along to the lead teacher in your child’s class during drop off and make a note of it on their check-in sheet.

NOTE* If at any time you would like an update on your child, a HOME leader would be happy to check for you as the children are used to seeing them and it would provide the least disruption to the classroom. Thank you!

Get to Know Our Classrooms and Teachers

HOME classrooms serve children newborn to 5 years old. Each week we open 7 classrooms that are busy with little bodies.  Children are placed in a classroom with friends similar in age, with age appropriate toys and activities. They get to know their teachers and little friends well as they will be dropped off in the same class each week. Connect with a HOME Leader when you arrive to learn which classroom will be the best fit for your sweet little ones.

Amazing HOME Teachers

Each of the HOME classrooms are staffed with two childcare teachers ready to play and enjoy the morning with our kiddos. Each classroom has a Lead teacher that works weekly and will greet you and your child during drop off on Tuesday mornings. They are easy to spot because they will have a pink ribbon on their name tag. Most of our supporting childcare volunteers also serve weekly, others once or twice a month and some as subs/on call. All of our workers come highly recommended and have been background checked.
